AEPi Brothers Back Together At #AEPi109

After more than two years apart, AEPi Brothers from around the world are gathering – in person – this summer at Alpha Epsilon Pi’s 109th International Convention in Aventura, Florida. Relive everything that made your AEPi experience impactful at the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa from August 10-14, 2022.

To celebrate our return to Brotherhood, we have put together a number of special programs for our alumni Brothers including networking opportunities, a Wednesday Golf Tournament, a Thursday evening waterpark party and a Saturday night gala banquet that will have you reminiscing about your glory days and singing Gold and Blue with hundreds of AEPi Brothers.

Our undergraduate Brothers will be participating in a revamped program designed to provide them with information and skills which will benefit their chapter and their community as well as help prepare them for more success in their chosen careers.

This convention will be different than most. We want to take this opportunity to join together and celebrate what makes our Brotherhood so special. The JW Marriott Turnberry Resort & Spa is an upscale resort, perfect for a family get-away or a reunion with your chapter Brothers. With a water park, golf course, and restaurants on-site, you will not want to miss this!

“I promise our Brothers that this will be an amazing event – our most spectacular convention since the 100th,” said AEPi CEO Rob Derdiger. “I hope Brothers will join us for all or a part of the time together.”

In addition to spending time together with Brothers, AEPi will be celebrating the outgoing Supreme Master, Jason Oshins (Union, 1987) and the incoming Supreme Master, Scott Knapp (Florida State, 2002).

As AEPi’s 75th Supreme Master, Supreme Master Oshins has led our fraternity through unprecedented times of personnel transition, a global pandemic and increasingly virulent antisemitsim on college campuses

An attorney in Brooklyn and devoted father of two college aged children, Brother Oshins is a passionate advocate for Jewish students, free speech and pro-Israel causes, Brother Oshins has been the right leader at the right time for Alpha Epsilon Pi. Our fraternity wouldn’t be in the position we are today without his steady hand and firm resolve during these unimaginable circumstances the last two years. We all owe him a debt of gratitude for helping ensure AEPi’s vitality for the future.

Supreme Master-Elect has been one of the fraternity’s shining young leaders for the last few decades. As he assumes the responsibility for the fraternity’s leadership, we are poised for even greater success in large part due to his tireless work on behalf of our Brotherhood and Jewish students.

As a partner in the Fort Lauderdale office of Nelson Mullins Broad and Cassel, Brother Knapp is a preeminent litigation attorney with a sterling reputation. He brings that same passionate advocacy to working with Brothers of Alpha Epsilon Pi.

In addition to rising to become the fraternity’s Supreme Master, Brother Knapp also serves as a Senior Vice President for B’nai B’rith International.  Brothers of Alpha Epsilon Pi are beyond fortunate to have such a dedicated volunteer leader (and ‘Noles fan) to continue the legacy of Supreme Master Oshins.
