Dear Donors of the AEPi Foundation,

Thank you for holding true to our motto of “I am my Brother’s keeper.” I recently lost my grandfather to COVID-19 and accrued unexpected expenses that have made it difficult for me to maintain hope considering everything going on. However, receiving this scholarship to help ease some of my financial burdens and knowing that there are caring individuals out there, like yourselves, is really helping me look to the – hopefully – brighter days ahead.

With much appreciation,

Tomer Kornfeld

I would like to sincerely thank you for donating to the AEPi Scholarship Grant. I have been fortunate enough to receive this grant for the Fall 2020 semester, and it will be greatly helpful in pursuing my education. I have always believed that a well-educated chapter produces great brothers and even greater men, and with this grant I will be able to continue learning and sharing that knowledge within my brotherhood. I’m currently in my fifth year at Northeastern University pursuing a B.S. in Civil Engineering and an M.S. in Energy Systems. The skills I’ve learned through my coursework and internships have allowed me to become an active leader and mentor within my chapter. I’ve held two executive board positions, scribe and lieutenant master, in which I’ve excelled in keeping my chapter organized and informed. Looking beyond the tangibles, I’ve inspired many brothers during my time in the Sigma Kappa Psi chapter to be better versions of themselves, and I look forward to continuing to do so during my final year despite these difficult times.

Throughout my time in AEPi, one phrase has always rung true: I am my brother’s keeper. I think this embodies itself in many forms that we associate with our chapter during our time in college, but through your generosity you have shown that it truly continues beyond those years. As I mentioned previously, these are difficult times, and I think that makes the impact of your donation even greater. One day, I hope to be in the position that you hold currently so that I can help my brothers who find themselves where I am today. So, thank you for more than just the donation, thank you for being your brother’s keeper.

Fraternally,

William Moore
