This FAQ list will be updated as convention approaches. For any additional questions please contact sarah@aepi.org.

ROOMS

May I request roommates?
Undergraduate brothers may request roommates but assignments are not guaranteed.

How many to a room?
Attendees may choose single, double, triple or quad occupancy during online registration.

MEALS

Are meals provided?
Registration packages include registration for all Convention events, Convention t-shirt, giveaways, hotel rooms and most meals.

Kosher options?
All meals are Kosher style, Glatt Kosher meals are available upon request during online registration.

ATTIRE

Do I need a suit?
Suit and tie are required for the Supreme Board of Governors meeting, initiation and banquet dinner on Saturday.

When is International Convention?
Wednesday, August 8 through Sunday, August 12

When should I arrive? When may I leave?

If you are accepted to one of the three Summer Leadership conferences, you must book your travel to arrive in Phoenix on Sunday, August 5, 2018 by 11:00 AM.

If you are traveling from Australia, Israel or Europe for one of the Summer Leadership Series, you will need to arrive Saturday evening, August 4, 2018. AEPi will cover your additional hotel time.

If you are the only brother from your chapter attending Convention (chief delegate), your flight must arrive by 12:00 PM on Wednesday, August 8, 2018. You may leave Phoenix at any time on Sunday, August 12, 2018.

Booking Travel for House Managers: Your flight must arrive by 4:00 PM on Wednesday, August 8, 2018. You may leave Phoenix at any time on Sunday, August 12, 2018.

Booking Travel for Rush Chairmen and Pledgemasters: Your flight must arrive by 4:00 PM on Wednesday, August 8, 2018. You may leave Phoenix at any time on Sunday, August 12, 2018.

REIMBURSEMENTS

How do I become eligible for a reimbursement?
For reduced convention pricing, undergraduate brothers must participate in the Summer Leadership Series in the days leading up to convention (“pre-cons”) or represent their chapter as Chief Delegate (highest ranking officer present) or House Manager/Rush Chair (chosen by the International office). Undergraduate brothers who are both eligible officers and participating in a summer leadership conference are eligible to receive one reimbursement, the highest of the two.

How much money am I eligible for?
Undergraduate brothers who represent their chapter as Chief Delegate (highest ranking officer present), House Manager/Rush Chair (chosen by the International office) will receive a travel reimbursement (info released in email prior to convention) as well as a $275 reimbursement toward registration. Summer Leadership Series attendees will receive a $100 reimbursement for convention registration.
