AEPi at FSU Leads Greek-Wide Harvey Relief Effort

09 Sep, 2017

Following Hurricane Harvey, Philanthropy Chair Justin Gray (Florida State, 2019) reached out to fellow FSU fraternities and sororities to begin fundraising for victims of Hurricane Harvey. Together, they have already raised $4,500 — surpassing the original $500 goal.

“FSU is one of the biggest IFC, Panhellenic schools in all of the country, so we have to be doing something for this […] I reached out to other fraternities and sororities, and it just kind of blew up from there,” said Brother Gray. Donations will go towards the Houston-area Salvation Army, food banks and humane societies.

The AEPi Foundation has also coordinated relief efforts through the Benevolent Brothers Fund, which was established to assist our undergraduate and alumni brothers in their greatest time of need.
