New Member Oath

1. After favorable consideration by the Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity, I do hereby solemnly pledge my word and honor that:
2. I will never reveal to any person or organization anything that I have learned or may learn appertaining to the secrets of this Fraternity.
3. I will conscientiously obey all instructions issued to me by this Fraternity.
4. I have read the definition of hazing and I will not allow myself to be hazed, nor participate in any hazing activities. I will immediately report such activity to the Executive Office.
5. I will not have any fraternal dealings with any other college fraternity without first obtaining the consent of this Fraternity.

To all of the above and the statements contained on the Fraternal Oath, I hereby solemnly promise and swear, on my honor as a man and future initiate of The Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity.

Statement on Risk Management

No chapter shall conduct hazing activities. Hazing activities are those defined as:

"Any action taken or situation created, intentionally, whether on or off fraternity premises, to produce mental or physical discomfort, embarrassment, harassment or ridicule. Such activities may include but are not limited to the following: use of alcohol; paddling in any form; creation of excessive fatigue; physical and psychological shocks; quests, treasure hunts, scavenger hunts, road trips or any such activities carried on outside or inside the confines of the chapter house; wearing of public apparel which is conspicuous and not normally in good taste; engaging in public stunts and buffoonery; morally degrading or humiliating games and activities; and any other activities which are not consistent with fraternal law, ritual or policy or the regulations and policies of the educational institution."

The fraternity will not tolerate or condone any form of sexually abusive behavior on the part of its members, whether physical, mental or emotional. This is to include any actions which are demeaning to women and/or men, including but not limited to, date rape, gang rape or verbal harassment.

No alcohol shall be present at any pledge/associate member program or activity of the chapter.

Fraternity Oath

As a condition precedent to my initiation into Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity, I pledge my word and honor to the following conditions, without mental reservation or evasion, and promise to abide by these conditions unless released by the Supreme Board of Governors of the Fraternity:

1. I realize that I am required to remain as an active, dues paying undergraduate member for four full years, or until I receive my undergraduate degree, whichever comes first.
2. I realize that there is no resignation or inactive status in Alpha Epsilon Pi and that membership is for life unless I am expelled for a cause.
3. I realize that the fraternity badge is only leased to me for the term of my good standing in the fraternity, that it is not my property, that I have not purchased it and I agree to release it upon the request or demand of the Executive Vice President or other authorized officer or employee of the fraternity.
4. I realize that where a chapter maintains residential quarters and dining facilities, that unless the house is filled or unless excused by the chapter’s Executive Committee plus the Chapter Advisor and/or Regional Governor, I am required to live in the house and take my meals there, so long as I maintain residence on the campus and do not live at home with my parents or legal guardians. I realize that I must pay for my bed if I choose not to reside in the house, that the chapter has the right to determine the order of seniority for living in or out of the house, that only the Chapter Advisor may excuse me for meals and that there are no rebates for meals missed. 
5. I realize that my obligation to the fraternity does not cease when I graduate, but that membership is for life and I promise to support the fraternity financially and actively as an alumnus and to participate in the fraternity’s alumni activities to the extent of my ability.
