Philanthropy and Community Service

AEPi brothers organize a Pie Toss benefiting the Official Philanthropy.
Mutual helpfulness, including service to our community, is a core value of our fraternity. AEPi chapters across North America strive to embody that trait by getting involved with their local communities through working with Hillel, Chabad, student unions, newspapers, student government and other organizations. As an international organization, AEPi serves to connect its brothers with our greater community: the Jewish people at home and in Israel.
Current Official Philanthropy
AEPi continues to improve its community through its Official Philanthropy Campaign. At the 93rd AEPi International Convention in Louisville, Supreme Council, made up largely of undergraduate brothers, unanimously adopted for the first time ever a long term philanthropy plan.

How to Donate + Recognition Levels
Though we are ahead of schedule in terms of fundraising amount, we have never had 100% participation for these causes. Let us change that this year! To donate:
- Make out the check to "AEPi Foundation"
- In the memo, write "Official Philanthropy" and the cause of your choice.
- Send the check to: AEPi International, c/o Director of Jewish Programming, 8815 Wesleyan Road, Indianapolis, IN 46268
Chapters will be recognized publicly at our 97th International Convention in New Orleans for their 2009-2010 Official Philanthropy efforts at the following levels:
- $100+, Century Club
- $1,000+, Millenium Club
- $1,913+, Founders Club
- $5,000+, Lions Club
- $10,000+, Esponda Club
Only one chapter has reached the "Esponda Club" in the history of our Official Philanthropy initiative. We hope to add more chapters to this great distinction. That said, any donation makes an impact. Let's achieve 100% participation for 2009-2010! Please check out the below manuals and contact mwaitz@aepi.org for guidance and further information!
