Brotherhood is a word that is thrown around often in chapters, but it only exists when brothers are willing to sacrifice for the greater good of the chapter.  Without that commitment there is no brotherhood.  There is no easy way to create brotherhood in a chapter, but good pledge and brotherhood programs are a great start.

The next step is creating a standards system, which if done properly, where every brother knows the chapter standards, can make better brothers and a more productive chapter.  Brothers will be proud of their affiliation with the chapter knowing that they earned it and the chapter will be stronger and more unified when everyone is doing their part to make the chapter better.

This section is worth 20 points:

(2)  There exists a brotherhood committee headed by either the member at large on the executive board or the brotherhood Chair on the minor board.

(2)  The proper ritual ceremonies are executed by a team led by the sentinel.

(2)  The chapter has a scholarship program in place to assist all members with their academics.
