Thanks to the generous contributions from our sponsors, Israel Amplified costs only $70. Once you are accepted to Israel Amplified your spot will be temporarily held until your registration payment is received. When we receive your $70 your space in the conference will be confirmed and reserved. Your $70 registration fee includes your travel subsidy, hotel room during the conference, and meals during the conference.
Payment can be made through the AEPi Foundation website.
Notices of acceptance are being sent out on a rolling basis. We appreciate your patience as we go through all the applications and interviews.
Israel Amplified will be taking place at the world renowned Arizona Biltmore Resort and Hotel. There are nine pools!
Israel Amplified will begin at 2pm on Monday, August 6th. You must be at the hotel by 1pm on Monday in order to register and pick up your credentials so we may begin on time. Therefore, when you are booking your travel make sure you arrive to Phoenix Airport no later than 12noon.
Travel to the hotel from the airport is your own responsibility. We can try to help you coordinate with other participants to reduce costs. There are three ways to get to the hotel:
ExecuCar which is a flat rate $33 town-car service and cars seat up to four people.
Taxi service from the airport which ranges from roughly $30-$40.
Shuttle vans (super shuttle and the like) start at $15 and may make multiple stops on the way to the hotel, so please factor that into your travel plans to be at the hotel by 1pm.
We have scheduled for Israel Amplified to end by 2pm on Wednesday, August 8. Therefore, make sure your travel plans allow plenty of time to get to the airport on Wednesday. We recommend not booking a departing flight before 4:30pm. If for whatever reason you cannot find a flight departing after 4:30pm, please contact me and we will work something out. You are also responsible for travel from the hotel back to the airport.
Israel Amplified will be 150 stellar leaders from the Greek system from across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Israel.
No! Israel Amplified is open to ALL students involved in the Greek system! We are excited to offer this opportunity to a wide and diverse student population.
Thanks to our sponsors, your travel expenses will be subsidized. You will, however, have to purchase your own travel and will be reimbursed upon completion of the conference. Once your $70 registration fee is processed, someone from the Israel Amplified staff will be in touch with you regarding details for travel reimbursement. To ensure proper and timely reimbursement you must submit your travel itinerary INCLUDING THE PRICE to Adam Teitelbaum at firstname.lastname@example.org no later than July 15, 2012.
The travel subsidy breakdown will be as follows:
Traveling from the West Coast – up to $175
Traveling from the Midwest – up to $275
Traveling from the East Coast – up to $400
The Israel Amplified conference has been designed to maximize time and energy spent on developing your own personal relationship with Israel to bring a conversation about Israel into your chapter and the Greek system. There will be a combination of large group learning sessions, as well as smaller more direct learning environments. Some of the sessions will be led by Israel education experts, and some sessions will be peer driven. The Israel Amplified team has worked very hard to bring you the best and most effective Israel education conference designed especially for student leaders in the Greek system.
There is no set dress code, however, please dress appropriately for a conference setting. Chapter letters are encouraged.
